IN BRIEF: Petards subsidiary QRO Solutions wins GBP500,000 ANPR orders
Petards Group PLC - Guildford, England-based security, communication and surveillance systems developer - Subsidiary QRO Solutions receives purchase orders totalling GBP500,000 for the provision of automatic number plate recognition equipment and support. The first order, for GBP400,000, is from an existing police force customer in the north of England and the first to be received under a previously announced four year framework contract. The second, worth GBP100,000, is for a new overseas customer and is for the supply of ANPR equipment that will form part of the Government of Gibraltar's recently announced enhanced border security measures. Both orders are scheduled to be delivered during the current financial year.
