Onward Opportunities Ltd - invests in smaller UK companies - Raises GBP1.4 million gross from a direct subscription of shares from the company in response to "significant investor demand". Says it will sell at least 1.1 million new shares at 126.64 pence to new an existing investors, noting this is at a 1.7% premium to its net asset value per share on Friday last week of 124.52p. Onward Opportunities says it will keep the subscription offer until this Friday to facility any further demand.
