IN BRIEF: IG Group changes financial year end to align with calendar

IG Group Holdings PLC - London-based provider of online trading platforms, including for shares and contracts-for-difference - Board approves change to its financial year, which will now end on December 31 instead of May 31. IG says the move is "aligning IG's reporting calendar with common market practice". Expects to publish final full-year results for the year ending December 31 in March, followed by interim results in August. Also in March, it will publish final results for the seven months ending December 31 and a trading update for the three months ending February 28.
