Ithaca Energy, up 3.2% at 284.30p, 12-month range 149.80p-298.60p. It has agreed to buy a portfolio of offshore oil assets in Canada from Suncor Energy Inc for up to USD1.11 billion. The Aberdeen, Scotland-based oil and gas company operating in the North Sea says it will pay an initial USD860 million for the assets, located off the East Coast of Newfoundland and Labrador, plus potential oil price related contingent consideration of up to USD250 million.

BT Group, up 2.3% at 200.85p, 12-month range 173.00p-242.09p. It announces a deal to rescue TalkTalk Telecommunications Ltd and PlatformX Communications Ltd out of administration. The London-based telecommunications firm says the total cash impact in financial 2027 arising from the deals will be around GBP400 million, comprising both consideration and other cash impacts. After an unsuccessful sale process for TalkTalk's consumer and wholesale operations, BT says it had agreed the deal, "in the public interest, to protect customers and critical national infrastructure."

Metlen Energy & Metals, up 1.7% at EUR49.42, 12-month range EUR30.50-EUR55.00. It signs a long-term agreement with a "major" Japanese chemical company regarding the future supply of gallium.
The Athens-based aluminium producer and electricity generator said the deal represents up to 16% of its total annual gallium production from its production facility in Greece, which is currently under construction. Metlen adds that the commercial terms of the agreement remain confidential.

Sirius Real Estate Ltd, up 1.6% at 88.05p, 12-month range 85.85p-113.00p. It has delivered a double-digit rise rent roll for the first six months of its financial year, driven by acquisition and organic growth. The London and Johannesburg-listed property investor achieves 11% rent roll growth year-on-year for the ended that September 30. The company says it had continued to deliver strong organic growth, with like-for-like rent roll rising 5.1% year on year.
