Small-cap and AIM movers in focus:
----------
Arc Minerals Ltd, up 8.8% at 0.68p, 12-month range 0.34p-1.30p. The exploration company focused on copper deposits in Africa says results of the geophysical programme at the Virgo programme at the Kalahari copper belt in Botswana "exceeded our expectations". A survey finds "several high-priority anomalies".
----------
Tooru PLC, up 6.1% at 0.16p, 12-month range 0.13p-0.34p. The health and wellness sector-focused firm hails "record week-on-week retail sales momentum" in its OAF range. At Pulsin, a "trading recovery" is on track following 2025's supply constraints. "The board is encouraged by the positive trading momentum across the group. OAF's strong EPOS performance complements Pulsin's continued recovery, with significant revenue growth expected over the next two quarters, supported by new product launches, expanded distribution and additional retail listings," Tooru says.
----------
Burford Capital Ltd, up 4.4% at 314.80p, 12-month range 279.80p-1,054.00p. Litigation finance provider Burford Capital says the ICC International Court of Arbitration tribunal has issued an award to one of its counterparties worth over USD600 million. If the award were to be paid in full today, Burford says it stands to receive over AUD250 million, some USD174.5 million. "The issuance of the award does not represent cash proceeds received by Burford. The case remains subject to significant litigation and collection risks, including potential annulment, set-aside or other post-award proceedings, as well as enforcement, collection and collateral litigation in other jurisdictions. As with all arbitration and litigation, the outcome remains uncertain until final resolution, and there can be no assurance as to the timing or amount of any ultimate recovery. Depending on the outcome of such proceedings, Burford could recover substantially less than the amount," it adds. Burford says it has made the announcement as it expects a public statement from its counterparty. "Investors should not view this release as altering Burford's general approach to public disclosure of individual matters," Burford says.
----------
Victoria PLC, down 2.8% at 70.00 pence, 12-month range 19.48p-111.00p. The flooring firm reports a wider annual loss but says the "factors behind subdued demand are considered cyclical rather than structural". "We believe Victoria is well placed to benefit as conditions improve. Victoria is adapting and each 5% increase in volume is expected to contribute approximately GBP20 million to Victoria's operating profit," Executive Chair Geoff Wilding says. Victoria's pretax loss in the year to March 28 widened to GBP62.0 million from GBP11.5 million. Revenue fell 6.2% to GBP1.05 billion from GBP1.12 billion.
