Proteome Sciences PLC - London-based protein-focused drug development services provider - Proteome tells annual general meeting on Thursday it is "confident and well positioned to see the business return to growth in 2024". The company swung to a loss in 2023, as revenue fell by 36% due to a delay in the timing of services contracts. Since the start of 2024, Proteome has seen "significant" customer engagement and interest in proteomics services, including a GBP500,000 contract for an unnamed US biopharmaceutical company to use Proteome's mass spectrometry services, announced late last month.
