IN BRIEF: Georgina Energy says Hussar pre-drill works in progress
Georgina Energy PLC - onshore helium and hydrogen explorer with permits in Australia - Confirms that civil engineering contractors are completing pre-drill site works, including water well drilling and conductor pipe drilling, for its planned Q3 Hussar drilling program. Says this is a key step towards mobilising the contracted Ensign 970 drill rig for "the testing of this exciting prospect, which...is one of the largest subsalt helium, hydrogen and hydrocarbons prospects onshore Australia." Adds that the September spud date for the Hussar well in the third quarter remains on target, and that water well drilling has started to provide the rig water supply. Civil engineers have also advanced site works, including a sump to contain drill cuttings and excess drilling fluid. Company says further updates will follow. Read More
