Gemfields only held one Emerald auction in 2025. Says 185,135 carats were offered for sale, with 183,385 carats sold. Average realised price is USD146.08 per carat, down from USD160.78 in September. Over this period, G-factor for 75%-held Montepuez Ruby Mining Ltda in Mozambique is at 26%, up slightly from 25%, however. The "G-factor for natural resources" reveals the percentage of natural resource revenue paid to the government of the host country in the form of mineral royalties, corporation tax and, where the relevant government is a shareholder, dividends.
