Huddled Group PLC, up 14% at 0.83 pence, 12-month range 0.30p-2.50p. Huddled agrees to acquire its Whatnot joint venture partner, AEWW Ltd, for GBP290,000, giving it full ownership of its online shopping platform operations. The consideration will be satisfied by issuing 38.7 million new shares at 0.75p each, with completion subject to due diligence and regulatory clearances. Huddled says its Whatnot accounts have attracted more than 120,000 followers, while weekly revenue from its Peeko Gadgets channel has increased more than 2.5 times since the joint venture launched in August. AEWW co-founders Jason and Regan McNeill will join Huddled to support expansion across Whatnot, TikTok, eBay and the company's own website. Executive Chair Martin Higginson says the acquisition will help accelerate growth by expanding product ranges, broadcasting hours and sales channels.

----------

Halo Minerals PLC, up 5.2% at 7.63 pence, 12-month range 7.13p-18.53p. The copper development company secures a key mining permit for its Playa Verde copper and gold tailings processing project in northern Chile. The permit authorises Halo's wholly owned subsidiary, Minera Playa Verde, to dredge mineral-bearing material at Chanaral beach, including within the urban area. Halo says the approval marks an important step toward a final investment decision and project development, which aims to recover copper from historic mining waste. The company is progressing with further regulatory approvals, including a mining easement expected in the coming weeks and a maritime concession application. Chief Executive Andrew Dennan says the focus is now on completing the remaining work needed to bring Playa Verde to a final investment decision.

----------

boohoo Group PLC, up 3.0% at 25.75 pence, 12-month range 10.30p-29.50p. The online fashion retailer, which trades as Debenhams, swings to a pretax profit of GBP28.3 million in the six months to August 31 from a GBP17.9 million loss a year earlier, marking its first pretax profit in five years. Revenue falls 3.0% to GBP409.6 million from GBP422.4 million, while gross merchandise value before returns rises 1.8% to GBP863.8 million. The Debenhams brand records 14% GMV growth to GBP363.8 million, offsetting a 28% decline at boohoo Man. Net debt is reduced to GBP98.5 million from GBP111.1 million, and the company now expects negligible net debt at year-end, ahead of previous guidance. It maintains its full-year adjusted Ebitda forecast of at least GBP59 million, implying growth of around 11% from GBP53.3 million in financial 2026. Chief Executive Dan Finley says the group's turnaround continues "at pace".

----------

Catenai PLC, down 26% at 0.07 pence, 12-month range 0.05p-0.66p. The digital media and technology services provider says it has filed an application with the UK High Court to appoint an administrator to Klarian Ltd, which owes Catenai approximately GBP762,000 under an unsecured convertible loan note and accrued fees as at June 30. Innovate UK Loans Ltd submitted the application on October 16. Catenai originally provided Klarian with a GBP450,000 convertible loan facility in April 2024, with a repayment of GBP699,160 due by July 1 this year. However, the company has not received repayment, and no further extension has been agreed. Interim Chief Executive John Farthing says the company is disappointed by the development, having understood that Klarian was seeking additional investment from existing investors.

----------

Focus Xplore PLC, down 18% at 0.02 pence, 12-month range 0.02p-0.04p. The mineral exploration company has provided a technical review of its recently acquired Clarkdon gold property in northwestern Ontario, Canada, where it is conducting the first phase of exploration. The programme includes soil geochemical sampling and geological prospecting across two priority target areas, the South Sturgeon Fault Zone and the Central Structural & Magnetic Corridor. Focus Xplore says the 18-square-kilometre property lies within the Sturgeon Lake greenstone belt, where geological structures indicate potential for gold mineralisation. The company notes that the targets have not previously undergone systematic gold exploration, although historical drilling in 1971 identified copper-bearing sulphides.
