Small-cap and AIM movers in focus:

----------

Renalytix PLC, up 10% at 5.90p, 12-month range 1.60p-8.80p. The diagnostics company says a new US health department plan for kidney care aligns "directly with kidneyintelX.dkd", a Renalytix prognostic blood test. The plan places an onus on preventing kidney failure, shifting from managing it. "The plan's priorities align directly with kidneyintelX.dkd, Renalytix's FDA-authorized and Medicare-reimbursed prognostic blood test for adults with type 2 diabetes and early-stage chronic kidney disease," Renalytix says.

----------

Camellia PLC, down 8.7% at 5,250.00p, 12-month range 4,800.00p-6,300.00p. Camellia slumps as it reports it currently forecasts full-year revenue to be between GBP255 million and GBP260 million, down from GBP268 million in 2025, the holding company for agriculture businesses says.

"Trading has also been affected by a downturn in global avocado and macadamia nut prices and lower crop yields for both products. As a result, Camellia's trading result for 2026 is expected to be weaker than previously anticipated," it warns. "The group has seen stronger trading performances in the Bangladesh, India and Eastern Produce Kenya tea businesses and the Brazilian arable business is performing in line with expectations. This has been more than offset by weaker results from Kakuzi."

Camellia owns just over 50% of London listing Kakuzi. Kakuzi on Thursday says it expects net earnings to be significantly lower than the previous year "as a result of the continued downturn in the macadamia market and a lower macadamia crop". Kakuzi shares were unmoved.

----------

Record, up 5.1% at 45.70p, 12-month range 41.40p-60.20p. The currency and asset manager said assets under management at the September 30 second quarter end amounted to USD130.3 billion, up 7% from USD122.0 billion in June. Record reports net inflows of USD10.4 billion.

"This marks a fifth consecutive quarter of positive net flows for the group. This was partially offset by underlying asset movements and impacts from foreign exchange movements," Chief Executive Officer Jan Witte says.

----------

Essentra, up 5.0% at 118.60p, 12-month range 78.40p-124.00p. The manufacturer of plastic-injection-moulded, vinyl-dip-moulded and metal components says revenue in the third quarter to September 26 jumps 15% at constant currency, on a working day adjusted basis. Essentra now expects financial 2026 adjusted operating profit to be towards the upper end of market expectations. It puts the market forecast between GBP32.3 million and GBP34.3 million. In the prior financial year, adjusted operating profit amounted to GBP32.0 million.

----------

Arbuthnot Banking Group PLC, up 3.7% at 831.80p, 12-month range 755.00p-940.00p. The merchant bank now expects 2026 pretax profit "will be ahead of prior expectations". Arbuthnot says this is due to a loan book growth, a "stable rate environment" and progress in Wealth Management. Customer loans and leased assets totalled GBP2.5 billion at the third quarter end, up 12% from GBP2.2 billion on-year, while funds under management and administration amounted to GBP3.1 billion, growth of 21% on-year.
