IN BRIEF: Versarien receives further instalment on Korean assets sale

Versarien PLC - Gloucestershire, England-based advanced materials engineering group - Receives a further GBP150,000 from MCK Tech Co Ltd out of a total consideration of GBP604,000 for the sale of Versarien's South Korean plant and equipment. This leaves MCK Tech with GBP92,000 left to repay, plus accrued interest. Versarien also says it has now agreed a further extension to February 28 for MCK Tech to make its final payment. The debt will incur interest at an annual rate of 10%. Read More

IN BRIEF: Versarien raises funds to pursue contract opportunities

Versarien PLC - Gloucestershire, England-based advanced materials engineering group - Raises GBP450,000 via a placing at 0.0325 pence per share. Proceeds will be used to further increase the in-house concrete and mortar testing capabilities and fund external UKAS accredited testing services for 3D construction printed products, as well as for general corporate and working capital purposes. In August, company struck its first significant 3D construction printing contract with Building For Humanity CIC. In early October, outlined a pipeline of opportunities of GBP4.7 million, and the proceeds will also help the company to pursue these. Read More
