Union Jack Oil PLC - Bath, England-based UK-focused onshore hydrocarbon production, development, and exploration company - Reports its material landmark net revenues is in excess of USD16 million in the Wressle hydrocarbon development located in North Lincolnshire, since production recommenced in August 2021. Union Jack Oil has a 40% economic interest in this development. Says oil production stable at 780 barrels per day, compared to 750 barrels on June 20, 2022. Read More
Egdon Resources PLC - Gloucestershire, England-based oil and gas explorer and producer - Withdraws planning appeals related to the refusal of planning consent for exploratory drilling at its North Kelsey oil sight in Lincolnshire. Says the decision comes about following advice from a planning inspector. Last year, Lincolnshire County Council refused Egdon's right to extend the timeframe of an existing planning and drilling permit at North Kelsey. A hearing was due to take place next week to determine whether the council was right to refuse planning permission. A new planning application for consideration by the council will be submitted by Egdon, as well as recently updated traffic, ecology and flood risk assessments. Union Jack Oil PLC, Bath-based, hydrocarbon production, development and exploration company which holds a 50% stake in the licence, notes Egdon's announcement. Union Jack Oil PLC - UK-focused hydrocarbon production, development and exploration company - Swings to a pretax profit in 2022 as its full-year revenue multiplies. Pretax profit in the year swings to GBP3.1 million from a loss of GBP853,013 the year prior. Revenue multiplies to GBP8.5 million from USD1.9 million in 2021. Explains this increase was mainly due to elevated cash flow from its Wressle project, as well as "robust" oil prices and increased hydrocarbon production in the year. Declares an interim dividend of 0.3 pence per share. Looking forward, Executive Chair David Bramhill says the company will remain focused on the development of its flagship projects, Wressle and West Newton, moving forward.
