Symphony Environmental Technologies PLC - Hertfordshire, England-based biodegradable plastic technology developer - Reports results for the first half of 2026. Revenue grows 23% to GBP3.6 million from GBP2.9 million. Pretax profit is GBP55,000, flipped from a GBP503,000 loss. Gross profit increases to GBP2.1 million from GBP1.5 million, with the margin increasing to 59% from 51%. Symphony says it maintained commercial momentum across its technology portfolio, noting further full-container NbR orders and repeat orders for the d2p AI insecticidal technology. Results follow Symphony's announcement on Tuesday that independent test results for its d2p Ethylene Adsorber 'EA' active packaging technology have strengthened its evidence base, and that it has delivered its first commercial container-load to Sirane Central Americana in Mexico. Testing found that d2p EA reduced ethylene concentrations by 16.8% to 46.7%, compared with 0.8% to 4.0% for the conventional polyethylene packaging.
