Malibu Life Holdings Ltd - Cayman Islands-based life and annuity reinsurer with substantial assets invested through Third Point Offshore Fund Ltd - Appoints Todd Shriber as chief executive officer, effective from July 20, succeeding Gary Dombowsky who will step down as CEO that day. Outgoing CEO Dombowsky will continue to serve on the board of Malibu Life Reinsurance SPC as a non-executive director and as a senior advisor to the business. Incoming CEO Shriber has 25 years of financial services leadership experience, joining from Prudential Financial Inc where he recently served as chief operating officer and head of strategy for the firm's Global Retirement and Insurance businesses.
