TRADING UPDATES: Malibu Life raises USD125 million via share offer

19th Aug 2026 22:46

(Alliance News) - The following is a round-up of trading updates by London-listed companies, issued on Wednesday and not separately reported by Alliance News:

----------

Net Zero Infrastructure PLC - special purpose acquisition company focused on renewable or clean energy technology companies - Completes its additional fundraising announced on August 3. Conditionally raises additional gross proceeds of GBP164,500 through the issue of 16.5 million new ordinary shares at 1 pence per share. Investors will also receive one warrant for every two new ordinary shares subscribed for, exercisable at 1.5 pence per share for a period of three years from the date of issue. "The net proceeds of the additional funds will be used primarily to fund professional fees and working capital requirements as the company continues to progress its proposed reverse takeover and intended admission to AIM," Net Zero says.

----------

Avation PLC - Singapore‑based aircraft leasing - Says it has delivered the first of the two ATR 72-600 being transitioned to Finnair and the 6-year lease term has commenced. Delivery of the second aircraft is scheduled for September 2026. Chair Jeff Chatfield says: "We are pleased to have delivered the first aircraft to Finnair, Finland's flag carrier and one of the world's most established airlines. Finnair is also a member of The oneworld Alliance. This delivery supports Avation's strategy of diversifying its customer base. When aircraft are returned by lessees, or otherwise require transition, Avation conducts a careful and broad marketing process to identify suitable opportunities with a diversified range of lessees."

----------

Foresight Ventures VCT PLC - aims to invest in companies looking to expand internationally - Expects to open an offer for subscription of new ordinary shares later this year. Says a non-prospectus offer document will be available in due course. "The offer is expected to take advantage of the dispensations permitted under the new prospectus rules which came into effect on January 19. Under these new rules, the company would not be required to publish a full prospectus to make the offer. However, further details about the offer will be made available to shareholders and prospective investors once finalised by the directors of the company," Foresight says.

----------

Trekor Metals Ltd - North America-focused copper producer formerly known as Taseko Mines - Updates on its wholly-owned Aley niobium project, an advanced-stage development project located in northeastern British Columbia, Canada. Says it has continued development of a proprietary flotation process over the past years, resulting in higher niobium recoveries and reduced reagent consumption. "The concentrate produced with this process has been used to successfully produce market grade ferroniobium, a critical input for specialty steel production. The team is also evaluating opportunities to use the concentrate to produce high purity niobium oxide directly, or by utilizing a third-party processor." Appoints Steve Sparkowich as director, Aley Niobium, to support technical development, market positioning and commercial strategy for the project. The Aley Project contains an estimated 84 million tonnes of proven and probable mineral reserves grading 0.50% niobium pentoxide. "With a processing rate of 10,000 tonnes per day, the mine would have a production capacity of 14,000 tonnes of ferroniobium (nine million kilograms of contained niobium) per year over a 24 year mine life," notes. Says "a significant amount of development work has been completed on the project since the last technical report." A test program has confirmed the operability of a new, optimized flotation process "that has yielded higher niobium recoveries and improved concentrate grades with much reduced reagent consumption," company adds. The process has been patented by Trekor in the US, Australia, Brazil and Europe. The project team is also developing a hydrometallurgical flowsheet that would produce niobium oxide from Aley's flotation concentrate. The team is currently scaling up the pilot program to produce additional quantities of ferroniobium. Says the focus now shifts to product marketing initiatives and engagement with potential offtake parties and processors.
