Journeo PLC - London-based transport systems provider - Receives GBP900,000 purchase order for the manufacture and supply of passenger information displays for Northern Trains. The signs will be developed Journeo's subsidiary Infotec Ltd, which received purchase orders prior to acquisition. Northern is a publicly-owned train operator established by the Department for Transport. Northern has started a programme to replace passenger information displays in all their stations, a purchase order for approximately 200 display signs which Journeo will supply. Read More

Journeo says this contract will offer principle authorities in Wales the ability to utilise a nationwide CMS to deliver high accuracy information. Journeo PLC - Information systems and transport technical services group - Says 2022 order intake is up 50% to GBP27 million from GBP18 million a year earlier, which provides good earnings visibility for the current financial year. Revenue is up 35% to GBP21.1 million from GBP15.6 million. Journeo notes that across the year, the total number of vehicles connected to Journeo's software and services platform are up significantly to 10,000, from 4,000 in 2021, each generating monthly recurring revenues.
