IN BRIEF: Blackfinch Spring VCT NAV edges lower in first half of 2025
Blackfinch Spring VCT PLC - venture capital trust - Net asset value per share falls slightly to 99.10 pence at June 30 from 99.70p a year prior. Says it delivers a strong first half of 2025, marked by "record fundraising, continued expansion of the portfolio and steady progress in creating long-term shareholder value, not least through the delivery of regular dividends." Distributes a dividend of 2.5p per share in the six-months to end June and since the period end has paid a further dividend of 2.7p per share. Explains the portfolio expanded into new sectors during the first half of the year, including space technology and sensor technology. "Despite this challenging macroeconomic backdrop, the portfolio has generally continued to perform well, with a number of companies achieving significant revenue growth," Blackfinch says.
