Small-cap and AIM movers in focus:
----------
Sabien Technology Group PLC, up 36% at 3.75p, 12-month range 2.45p-19.89p. The provider of energy efficiency technologies says that after a "further consideration", it will not go ahead with an investment and financing framework. The framework, announced in May, would have seen a strategic investor group acquire the 27% holding in the firm owned by Executive Chair Richard Parris and associated parties. It had also proposed the restructuring, refinancing and conversion of certain existing debt and invoice financing arrangements with Parris Group Ltd in May, as well as a senior secured convertible loan note financing intended to raise up to GBP2 million. But Sabien says the moves "will no longer proceed". It means Parris retains his shareholding. Sabien adds: "PGL continues to provide financial support to Sabien under the group's existing arrangements and has indicated its present intention to maintain that support for the foreseeable future. Notwithstanding this, no new binding funding commitment has been entered into. The board will continue to monitor the company's funding requirements and, if required, will seek to formalise appropriate support arrangements with PGL." In addition, Sabien says it remains in talks with Haydale PLC and Intelligent Resource Management Ltd over a definitive UK distribution deal for its M2G intelligent boiler optimisation platform. "The parties have exchanged detailed contractual proposals and are working towards terms capable of approval by their respective boards. Notwithstanding this, no definitive agreement has as yet been agreed. Furthermore, material commercial and legal terms remain under negotiation, and accordingly, there can be no certainty that a binding agreement will be concluded or as to its timing," it says.
----------
Huddled Group, up 14% at 0.4p, 12-month range 0.30p-3.69p. The e-commerce company launches its proprietary live commerce technology software. It defines live commerce as a combination of live-streaming, auctions, community chat and entertainment. "It is reshaping how consumers shop online, with platforms such as Whatnot, TikTok Shop and eBay Live driving rapid growth in buyer engagement and order volumes. Huddled has developed software intended to address a key constraint in scaling live commerce: the coordination of stock, orders and fulfilment across multiple sellers and platforms. The system connects third-party live-commerce sellers to Huddled's centralised stock pool and fulfilment infrastructure. This allows presenters to focus on content and sales, while Huddled manages stock allocation, order processing and delivery," the firm says. In addition, it forms a joint-venture with AEWW to "accelerate growth in live auctions under the Peeko brand".
----------
Made Tech Group, up 12% at 43p, 12-month range 26.00p-46.00p. Made Tech Group says it is part of a consortium that has landed a "significant new four-year contract with a UK government department". The deal is worth over GBP40 million to Made Tech across its four-year span, the provider of digital, data and technology services to the UK public sector says. It is the "largest contract award in the company's history". "Revenue from the award is expected to commence in FY27, with a more significant contribution expected in FY28," it adds. It now expects revenue between GBP63 million and GBP66 million and adjusted earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation between GBP6.3 million and GBP6.6 million for the year ending May 31, ahead of current market expectations. It puts consensus at GBP6.0 million for Ebitda and GBP60.3 million for revenue. Made Tech releases financial 2026 results next month, "and will provide further colour on the outlook at this stage". "As announced in its recent trading update, sales bookings accelerated significantly in H226. Together with the award, this has increased the current contracted backlog to approximately GBP115 million, providing increased revenue visibility into FY27 and beyond," Made Tech adds.
----------
Time Out Group PLC, up 11% at 7.50p, 12-month range 6.00p-15.75p. The media and hospitality business expects total revenue of GBP72 million for the year ended June 30, just below GBP73 million a year prior. But from continuing operations, a rise of 11% to GBP61 million from GBP55 million is expected. Time Out notes its Media arm has returned to adjusted earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation profit. Its Markets arm opened three new sites during the year, Budapest, New York Union Square and Vancouver. "At 30 June 2026, five additional Markets were in development-Abu Dhabi, New Delhi, São Paulo, Prague and Riyadh. New Delhi and Sao Paulo are the first agreements under the Group's new capital-light Market franchise model, creating the potential for further locations in India and South America," Time Out says. "Following the year end, the group secured a flagship London Market at Piccadilly Circus, bringing the concept to the city where Time Out was founded and increasing the development pipeline to six locations."
