Small-cap and AIM movers in focus:

----------

Litigation Capital Management Ltd, down 24% at 0.28p, 12-month range 0.23p-13.00p. The dispute financing solutions reports that an Australian Court has delivered judgment in an insolvency claim. LCM says the case was unsuccessful. LCM reports it funded the case entirely from its own balance sheet with AUD2.9 million, around GBP1.6 million, in shareholder invested capital. "A policy of [after the event] insurance is in place to mitigate adverse costs risk. LCM is currently reviewing the judgement and assessing potential next steps alongside legal representatives," it adds.

----------

Next 15 Group PLC, down 12% at 290.75p, 12-month range 217.00p-439.05p. The marketing firm swings to a pretax loss of GBP1.5 million for the six months to July 31, from profit of GBP15.8 million a year prior, as revenue slips 5.3% to GBP299.4 million from GBP316.1 million. Looking ahead, it says: "Trading since the period end is encouraging, with three consecutive months of LFL revenue growth (June 26 – August 26), for the first time in three years and a strong pipeline of new business across the group."

----------

MedPal AI PLC, up 11% at 6.40p, 12-month range 2.00p-9.50. The digital health and pharmacy group says Monday was a "record day". The New Health offering dispensed over 2,300 prescription orders that day, worth GBP300,000 in total. It has also received an indicative term sheet from a non-bank lender for GBP8 million of funding, with financing options under review. It says no equity fundraise is planned.

----------

Jubilee Metals Group PLC, up 6.4% at 2.08p, 12-month range 1.80p-5.20p. It says legal due diligence on the proposed disposal of the large waste project has now been completed. The metal processing company operating in Zambia late in August agreed to sell its large waste project for USD35.0 million after choosing a preferred bidder. On Thursday, the company says it expects the USD2.25 million deposit to be paid within the next few days after legal due diligence, which focused on the contractual and regulatory legal framework governing the project.

----------

Likewise Group PLC, up 6.2% at 41.78p, 12-month range 19.21p-42.00p. Shares hit this 12-month high on Thursday as investment vehicle Kelso Group Holdings PLC announces it has invested in Likewise. Kelso buys 5.0 million shares at an average price of 30p each, GBP1.5 million in total. Kelso believes the floorcoverings firm has "proven management" and a strong market share opportunity after Headlam Group PLC slipped into administration. Likewise on Wednesday said it acquired a number of assets from Headlam Group's administrators for GBP14.9 million. "The acquisition is a significant step for the group. Following Headlam's administration and the acquisition, the board believes Likewise is the largest floor coverings distributor in the UK, with an enlarged brand portfolio, additional freehold distribution capacity and a broader customer base. The acquisition will further support the group in achieving its goal of GBP300 million of revenue in the medium term," Likewise said on Wednesday.
