In a post on X, formerly known as Twitter, Federal Housing Finance Agency Director Bill Pulte accuses the credit checking firm of overcharging customers in the US. "Equifax, Experian, and TransUnion have been overcharging Americans for far too long. This will end soon. We are seriously considering bi-merge, and stronger solutions," Pulte says.
----------
Computacenter PLC, up 3.4% at 5,550p, 12-month range 2,234.00p-5,685.00p. Shares in the IT services firm are up some 90% year-to-date. Shares saw an August spike, boosted by well-received earnings from Nvidia Corp. Computacenter is an Nvidia partner. It was hit by some profit-taking earlier this week, falling 2.9% on Tuesday and 3.5% on Wednesday, but is back on the up as the week draws to a close.
----------
Coca-Cola Europacific Partners PLC, down 1.6% at 7,930p, 12-month range 6,280.00p-8,545.00p. JPMorgan believes the soft drink bottler is a "high quality company with a track record of earnings per share compounding", though it predicts momentum wanes in 2027.

Shares in the provider of self storage hit this 12-month low on Friday, looking set for a seventh successive daily decline. On Thursday, it reported higher third-quarter revenue but lowered its earnings outlook, following a weaker performance from properties in Paris and lower occupancy across the group. Safestore said adjusted diluted EPRA earnings per share for financial 2026 are expected to be in the lower half of the current 39.6 pence to 42.4p range of market expectations. For financial 2025, adjusted diluted EPRA EPS was 40.3p.
