Small-cap and AIM movers in focus:

----------

Eleco, up 70% at 229p, 12-month range 101.00p-230.00p. It hits this 12-month high as it backs a private equity buyout. The software provider for the construction and built environment sectors will be bought by Accel-KKR at 235 pence per share in cash, a 75% premium to its closing price on Wednesday. The deal values its issued, and to be issued, ordinary share capital at around GBP207.6 million.

----------

boohoo Group, up 13% at 24p, 12-month range 10.30p-29.50p. The fast fashion firm sells the automation in its Sheffield distribution centre and reassigns its lease to Associated British Foods PLC unit Primark in a GBP90 million deal. "The transaction will result in the company significantly deleveraging, and we now expect net debt to be negligible at our year-end," boohoo says.

----------

Fevertree Drinks PLC, down 6.2% at 767.00p, 12-month range 711.00p-973.00p. It has left its full-year view unchanged, after an improved first half, as the drinks maker says it traded well in the summer. Pretax profit in the first half of 2026 rose 30% to GBP14.6 million from GBP11.2 million, Fevertree reports, with revenue up 14% to GBP165.1 million from GBP144.3 million. "We've made strong progress in the first half of the year. In the US, our partnership with Molson Coors is delivering, with sales momentum building, market share increasing, and our first national marketing campaign helping bring the brand to more consumers than ever before," CEO Tim Warrillow says, "It's also been encouraging to see the UK return to growth. Our new marketing campaign, 'straight up or mixed', landed at exactly the right time as consumers made the most of the summer weather, while products such as ginger beer and Mexican lime soda continue to demonstrate how the Fever-Tree brand can thrive whether consumers are choosing to drink alcohol or not." Warrillow says the firm "continued to trade well through the summer" and it is confident of meeting market expectations for 2026. Fevertree has lifted its half-year dividend by 2.0% to 6.09 pence per share from 5.97p. Analysts at Peel Hunt comment: "In our view, short-term trading is largely irrelevant to the investment case at this stage. The return to growth in the UK and Europe is encouraging; however, the US sales run rate looks lower than we expected, and it would require an acceleration to +20% in H2 to meet consensus."

----------

SThree PLC, down 3.6% at 292.60p, 12-month range 132.20p-324.00p. Shares retreat slightly after a 10% jump on Wednesday. The science, technology, engineering and mathematics-focused staffing firm confirmed Wednesday it received "an unsolicited, preliminary and highly conditional approach" regarding a potential takeover offer from Circle8 Group Inc. SThree has a GBP357.2 million market capitalisation. SThree is actually larger than Nasdaq-listed Circle8, which has a USD65.5 million market value.
