Small-cap and AIM movers in focus:

----------

Alkemy Capital Investments PLC, up 17% at 362.50 pence, 12-month range 166.00p-468.30p. The investment company says its wholly owned Tees Valley Lithium subsidiary receives an offer in principle for up to GBP18.3 million of UK government grant funding towards the first phase of its lithium refinery in Teesside. The non-dilutive funding would support the GBP185 million Phase 1 development, which is expected to produce 25,000 tonnes of battery-grade lithium hydroxide annually, sufficient for more than 550,000 electric vehicles. The project is ultimately planned to scale to more than 100,000 tonnes per year. Alkemy says commercial arrangements are already in place including a binding offtake agreement with Glencore, process technology from Veolia and a feedstock agreement with Wogen Resources.

----------

Beauty Tech Group PLC, up 12% at 391.00 pence, 12-month range 213.00p-410.00p. The beauty technology company more than triples first-half pretax profit and raises full-year earnings guidance amid improved margins. Pretax profit rises to GBP17.5 million in the six months to June 30 from GBP5.0 million a year earlier, as revenue jumps 44% to GBP79.7 million from GBP55.2 million. Adjusted earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation increases 53% to GBP21.3 million from GBP13.9 million, with its margin improving to 26.7% from 25.2%. Beauty Tech says it enters its seasonally stronger second half with accelerating momentum and remains confident of delivering at least GBP170 million in full-year revenue, in line with guidance upgraded in July. Following the stronger first-half margin performance, it now expects 2026 adjusted Ebitda of at least GBP48.5 million, ahead of its previous guidance. No interim dividend is proposed.

----------

SysGroup PLC, up 14% at 28.50 pence, 12-month range 13.00p-36.00p. Says its positive sales and margin trajectory has continued as it approaches the end of the first half of financial 2027. Trading since the start of the new financial year remains in line with the exit run rate achieved in the fourth quarter of financial 2026, with sales growth and margins holding consistently. SysGroup remains confident of delivering full-year results in line with current market expectations. The company also has become an approved supplier on the UK government's G-Cloud 15 framework, allowing public sector organisations to procure cloud services directly from SysGroup, and has already secured its first contract through the framework with a UK public sector organisation.

----------

Revolution Beauty Group PLC, up 12% at 4.75 pence, 12-month range 2.20p-6.80p. The beauty products company says its turnaround strategy is gathering pace, with first-half adjusted Ebitda expected to be at least GBP2.0 million, swinging from a GBP12.5 million loss a year earlier. Revenue is expected to be broadly flat on-year despite the prior period benefiting from discount sales and discontinued products, while gross margin improves by more than 10 percentage points. Revolution Beauty says it has now achieved positive Ebitda in every month for the past 12 months, supported by continued cost discipline. Online sales rise 22% in the first half, while order books indicate that changes to products and ranges are gaining traction with retail customers. With the second half seasonally stronger, the company says it is trading "comfortably ahead" of market expectations.

----------

Sunrise Resources PLC, down 18% at 0.02 pence, 12-month range 0.01p-0.04p. The mineral exploration company raises GBP320,000 before expenses by placing 2.13 billion new shares at 0.0150p each. Each placing share comes with a warrant exercisable for another share at 0.0175p within 12 months. The placing remains subject to shareholder approval. Executive Chair Patrick Cheetham and Non-Executive Director Adam Hainsworth subscribe for GBP15,000 and GBP20,000, respectively. Sunrise says the proceeds will fund general working capital and preparatory work for drill testing gold and base metal projects in the US state of Nevada and in Australia, including geophysical exploration at its Reese Ridge and Lake projects in Nevada. Trading in the company's shares resumes on Thursday after halting on Wednesday last week, as Sunrise made use of the capital access window.
