28th Jul 2026 20:29

(Alliance News) - The following is a round-up of earnings and trading updates by London-listed companies, issued on Tuesday and not separately reported by Alliance News:

----------

NWF Group PLC - Cheshire, England-based fuel, food and feed distributor - Pretax profit climbs 33% to GBP12.4 million in the financial year ended May 31 from GBP9.3 million the year prior. Revenue is up 1.9% to GBP920.3 million from GBP903.1 million. Diluted earnings per share jumps 49% to 18.3 pence from 12.3p and the total dividend is hiked 3.6% to 8.7p per share from 8.4p. NWF calls this a "resilient performance delivering a full year result only slightly below initial market expectations." Fuels sees a small reduction in headline operating profit, but Food posts a 19% increase in headline operating profit reflecting increased customer demand combined with operational improvements and investment in capability. Feeds headline operating profit is stable. Adds: "Performance in the current financial year to date has seen the normalisation of trading conditions in Fuels, albeit with lower demand for domestic heating oil."

----------

Flowtech Fluidpower PLC - Cheshire, England-based supplier of fluid power products, systems and solutions - Delivers a first half performance in line with the board's expectations, with like-for-like revenue growth of 13%, representing a "significant" improvement on the year prior. Combined with the contribution from recent acquisitions, revenue increases by 24% to GBP70.4 million in the six months ended June 30 from GBP56.9 million, with market share gains achieved across all three geographical regions. First half revenue does not include the originally anticipated level of contributions from two major bridge infrastructure projects, which are now expected to be more heavily weighted towards the second half. Whilst market conditions are expected to remain challenging, the firm says it enters the second half with a sales pipeline and forward order book, supported by new customer contracts, that provide confidence in a stronger second half. Adds that the integration of recent acquisitions continues to progress well.

----------

Journeo PLC - Leicestershire-based transport system services provider - Expects revenue for the full year to be marginally ahead of, and adjusted pretax profit in line with, current market expectations which it puts at GBP72 million and GBP7.4 million respectively. For the six months ended June 30, revenue increases by 53% to GBP37.6 million from GBP24.5 million and adjusted pretax profit by 10% to GBP3.0 million from GBP2.8 million. Chief Executive Russ Singleton says: "The group has delivered record first-half revenue, driven by strong organic growth and complemented by the contribution from our recently acquired Crime and Fire Defence Systems business. The acquisition demonstrates the strategic benefits of expanding our total addressable market through targeted acquisitions. Order intake in the first half, together with a substantially strengthened sales opportunity pipeline, positions the Group well for the second half of the year and beyond".

----------

Macaulay Capital PLC - provider of co-investment opportunities focused on small UK businesses - Swings to pretax profit of GBP145,790 in the six months ended June 30 from a loss of GBP226,400 the year prior. Income balloons to GBP478,184 from GBP156,809. "We continue to see interesting investment opportunities in our area of the market, of which some, but not all, meet our stringent investment criteria. From the perspective of investors, we believe that our offering should be of great interest to high-net-worth individuals and family offices, and an ongoing priority for us is to broaden the pool of potential investors for such opportunities," company says.

----------

Portmeirion Group PLC - Stoke-on-Trent, England-based ceramics maker and retailer of homeware brands - Expects sales of GBP36.4 million in the half-year ended June 30, flat year-on-year at constant currency. "The tableware business is up 4.1% year-on-year, with the US returning to double digit growth. The group has made strong progress in Malaysia, and the group has entered Türkiye as a new market," it says. Full year expectations remain unchanged for revenue growth of 3% to 5% including negative forex impact and adjusted pretax profit losses lower than for FY25.

----------

NewRiver REIT PLC - London-based developer and manager of retail properties - Says strong leasing momentum continued in its first quarter, the three months ended June 30, with 165,900 square foot of new lettings and renewals completed across 71 transactions, securing GBP1.8 million of annualised rent. Long-term transactions were completed at plus 4.0% versus estimated rental value and plus 19.7% versus prior rent. Occupancy increased to 95.4% from 95.0% at March 31 with tenant retention remaining high at 96%.

----------

Luceco PLC - London-based lighting manufacturer and distributor - Revenue rises 13% to GBP143 million in the six months ended June 30 from GBP126 million the year prior, with growth accelerating in the second quarter to 15% versus 11% in the first. Adjusted operating profit of GBP15.8 million is up 14% from GBP13.8 million year-on-year with an adjusted operating profit margin of 11.1% versus 11.0%, slightly ahead of the prior year, despite continued headwinds in certain input commodity prices, reflecting disciplined pricing and operating efficiency. Continues to experience strong demand across key product categories, channels and territories, with revenue growth in the first half exceeding the board's expectations. Expects adjusted operating profit for 2027 to exceed current market expectations, with the potential for further significant outperformance dependent on demand flexibility. Luceco says the process to appoint a permanent chief executive is progressing and it is in advanced discussions with a number of candidates.

----------

Pebble Beach Systems Group PLC - Surrey, England-based software company - Trading over the first six months of the financial year ended June 30 has been "encouraging" and in line with the board's expectations. Revenue is expected to be up by 10% to GBP6.5 million from GBP5.9 million a year ago, with a strong contribution from project revenue, up 19% to GBP3.1 million from GBP2.6 million. This reflects the favourable timing of software licence deliveries in the period. Adjusted Ebitda is expected to be GBP2.4 million, up from GBP2.0 million, and the adjusted Ebitda margin is expected to be higher at 37% from 34%. Remains confident in the outlook for the year and says it is "well-positioned with a solid order book and a growing recurring revenue base."

----------

Likewise Group PLC - Birmingham, England-based floor coverings distributor - Plans to raise up to GBP29.2 million to help fund the acquisition of a new distribution facility. The fund raise includes a placing, subscription and retail offer at 28.5 pence per share. Proceeds will support the acquisition of a new 60,000 square foot high-bay distribution facility in Corby, England from PBBE Corby BV for GBP9.5 million, strengthen the balance sheet, fund transaction costs and fund further growth. The Corby acquisition further expands the group's freehold property portfolio, strengthening operational capacity, supporting margins and reducing exposure to rising rental costs.
