Adriatic Metals PLC - Balkans-focused exploration & development company - Receives all permits for phase 1 of the Veovaca tailing storage facility from the Federal Ministry of Energy, Mining & Industry of Bosnia & Herzegovina. This follows a Constitutional Court decision in July, which curtailed development plans for the previously permitted tailing storage facility. Braemar PLC - London-based provider of investment, chartering and risk management advice to shipping and energy markets - Will release results for the half-year that ended August 31 on November 6. Guidance remains unchanged. Braemar estimates underlying operating profit was slightly ahead of the GBP7.6 million recorded a year before, and revenue was no less than GBP75 million, flat on GBP74.9 million. Braemar also is "confident" in the outlook for the second half of the year and expects to declare an interim dividend of 4.5 pence, which would be up 13% from 4.0p a year before. Read More
Tribe Technology PLC - Belfast-based manufacturer of autonomous mining equipment - Calls general meeting for November 13 to seek shareholder approval to issue new shares. Tribe says it is exploring sources of new funding to cover extra costs for developing its autonomous reverse circulation drill rig, recently delivered for testing in Australia. The funding could be a mix of debt and equity. Tribe says it doesn't have an immediate plan for an equity raise. "However, in order to secure any such funding on terms favourable to the company, and in the interest of time as well as flexibility, the board believes that it is in the best interests of the shareholders of the company as a whole to pre-emptively obtain the requisite authorities" to issue new shares, Tribe says. The TTDS GC 700 drill rig is expected to be sent to the Australian customer's mine site in the second quarter of 2025 after the completion of "further significant software development and systems integration work". Adams PLC - invests in small- to mid-cap companies in the UK and Europe - Calls an extraordinary general meeting for November 27 to seek approval to cancel its shares from the AIM market in London and to sell its investments and return the money to shareholders. The company then would be wound up. Adams says its investment strategy is "no longer sufficiently attractive", particularly given its small capital base, with only GBP5.4 million in net assets as of the end of last month. Richard Griffiths, the company's major shareholder with a 94% stake, has committed to vote in favour of the plan, Adams says. To give others a quicker exit, Adams will conduct a share buyback at 4.00 pence per share, a 7.5% premium to its estimated net asset value on September 30 of 3.72p a share.
