IN BRIEF: Corcel raises GBP1.1 million to fund Angola programme

Corcel PLC - oil exploration and production in Angola and Brazil - Raises GBP1.1 million via placing at 0.34 pence per share. The placing is led by Toronto-based Purpose Global Resource Fund, who joins as a new institutional shareholder. The round also included follow-on investment from Charlestown Energy Partners, based in New York. Corcel Chief Executive Scott Gilbert, Executive Director and Chief Strategy Officer Geraldine Geraldo, Independent Non-Executive Chair Pradeep Kabra, and Independent Non-Executive Director Andrew also participated in the placing, collectively subscribing for 9.6% of the total amount raised. IN BRIEF: Helix Exploration starts construction at Rudyard plant

Helix Exploration PLC - London-based helium miner focused on Montana in the US - Announces the start of civil work and plant construction at the Rudyard Project, Montana. Civil construction is underway at the Rudyard site, including ground clearance and compaction prior to installation of a reinforced concrete pad. PSA plant and membrane modules from Texas to Montana are on track for delivery in August 2025. In addition, compressor units are expected to follow soon after. Helix says first helium production is targeted to commence once final equipment delivery & integration is completed onsite. Anglo Asian Mining PLC - Azerbaijan-focused gold, copper and silver miner - Reports production of 8,293 gold equivalent ounces in the second quarter to June 30 from 2,707 GEOs a year prior. Copper production is 654 tonnes multiplied from 46 tonnes a year ago, gold production is 6,086 ounces, up from 2,438 ounces and silver production is 32,033 ounces compared to 6,341 ounces. Across the first half of 2025, production more than trebles to 16,378 GEOs from 5,270 GEOs. Says the Gilar mine commenced production in May with 106,510 tonnes of ore produced in the quarter grading 1.23 grammes of gold per tonne and 0.84 per cent. copper. In addition, flags "significant" progress at Demirli with work steadily progresssing towards commencement of production. Reports positive cash flow of USD1.8 million in the half year, decreasing net debt to USD13.0 million as at June 30 compared to USD14.8 million at the end of 2024. "We look forward to building on the strong momentum of the first half, and to providing further updates on the execution of our growth strategy to become a mid-tier, copper-focused producer," says Chief Executive Reza Vaziri. Gateley Holdings PLC - Birmingham, England-based legal and consultancy firm - Maintains its annual payout unchanged despite profit more than halving in the financial year that ended April 30. Gateley reports GBP6.4 million in pretax profit, down 54% from GBP14.0 million in financial 2024. Revenue rises 4.1% to GBP179.5 million from GBP172.5 million, in line with guidance provided in June. This lifts underlying operating profit by 3.3% to GBP20.9 million from GBP20.3 million. However, Gateley takes GBP16.9 million in non-underlying operating costs and exceptional items, compared to GBP9.1 million the year before. The non-underlying operating costs include remuneration for post-combination services, gain on bargain purchase, share-based payment charges, and acquisition-related amortisation. Norcros will finance the purchase from its existing GBP130 million revolving credit facility. Oslo-based Fibo is a supplier of waterproof, decorative wall panels. "Wall panels are easy to install, durable and sustainable, and are an increasingly attractive alternative to tiles and other wall coverings.
