A "second acquisition", the move to buy a further 24% stake in LNEnergy after sealing an earlier stake buy in March, is not sealed before Tuesday's long stop date. Beacon notes a share purchase agreement with Reabold Resources PLC "remains in full force and effect".
----------
Hostelworld Group, down 8.0% at 93.80p, 12-month range 85.20p-141.50p. The online travel agent focused on the hostel market now expects a revenue hike of 10% for 2026. It sees the Middle East conflict and "softer long-haul demand between Europe and the Americas" to weigh on volumes. Its prior outlook was for a low double-digit revenue hike, in line with a capital markets day guide. "Revenue grew 7% in the third quarter and is up 10% year to date, despite the conflict in the Middle East weighing on transaction volumes," CEO Gary Morrison says.
----------
Likewise Group PLC, up 4.9% at 37.75p, 12-month range 19.21p-39.00p. The floor coverings distributor acquired a number of assets from Headlam Group from administrators for GBP14.9 million. "The acquisition is a significant step for the group. Following Headlam's administration and the acquisition, the board believes Likewise is the largest floor coverings distributor in the UK, with an enlarged brand portfolio, additional freehold distribution capacity and a broader customer base. The acquisition will further support the group in achieving its goal of GBP300 million of revenue in the medium term," Likewise adds. Shares hit this 12-month high on Wednesday.
