One of the contracts is over three years with a new global technology customer, with a contract value of around GBP600,000, and opportunities for future expansion. Revenue recognition from the Analytics and Proximity Cloud contracts is expected to start this month, support the firm's performance in the current financial year. Revenue from the remaining contract will be recognised in the next financial year, which starts on July 1. Clarkson PLC - London-based shipping services company in business for just under 175 years - Hires Niamh Staunton to be chief financial officer. Staunton currently is with BP PLC and will join Clarkson later this year on a date to be confirmed. She will replace Jeff Woyda, who Clarkson previously said will step down as CFO and chief operating officer in September after 19 years with the company. Clarkson last month moved Harriet Oliver to chief operating officer from head of Human Resources.
