Videndum PLC - Richmond, west London-based hardware and software for content creation - Changes name from Vitec Group PLC on Monday. Says swap is to avoid financial penalities from a now-settled dispute with another company over the Vitec name. Notes that 'videndum' means a "must see" in Latin, and it is using the name change to refresh its brand within the content creation market. Also renames its Imaging Solutions division as Media Solutions. Its two other divisions are Production Solutions and Creative Solutions.
