IN BRIEF: Prudential to be life insurance provider for Indonesia bank

Prudential PLC - London-based provider of life and health insurance and asset management in Asia and Africa - Signs bancassurance partnership with Bank Syariah Indonesia to by the lender's Syariah life insurance provider. The long-term agreement is signed by Prudential subsidiary PT Prudential Sharia Life Assurance and will begin in early 2025. BSI, the largest Syariah bank in Indonesia and the sixth largest overall by assets, will market, promote, distribute and refer Prudential products to its customers.
