Grafton Group PLC - Dublin-based building materials firm - Hires Eric Born to be chief executive officer. Born joins on November 28 and will replace Gavin Slark after he departs as CEO on December 31. Slark is moving to fellow construction products firm SIG PLC to be its new CEO, having held the role at Grafton for 11 years. Born is a Swiss national who was CEO of aviation services provider Swissport International AG for five years. Prior to Swissport, he was CEO of UK logistics firm Wincanton PLC.
