CyanConnode Holdings PLC - Cambridge, England-based developer of narrowband radio frequency mesh networks - Put up or shut up deadline for possible bid from Esyasoft Holding Ltd is extended to July 21 from June 23. In March, Esyasoft made a possible all-cash offer proposal which values the company at GBP37.5 million, or 10.44 pence per share. At the time, CyanConnode said it would be willing to recommend unanimously a bid at this level. Esyasoft continues to progress its "confirmatory due diligence, which remains ongoing and at an advanced stage, with the parties continuing to work through the final remaining elements of that process." Says formal contract agreement for this project to deploy approximately 750,000 smart meters is now signed. Explains the company's subsidiary, DigiSmart Networks Private Ltd has received the letter of award for the project and has now incorporated a special purpose vehicle, GreenMeter Goa Private Ltd, which, together with DigiSmart, has now executed the formal contract agreement for the project. Following an initial "kick-off" meeting held with the utility to commence the contract, the company is now engaging with subcontractors and planning the rollout of the smart meter deployment.
