Irish Residential Properties REIT PLC - Dublin-based real estate investment trust - Hires Hugh Scott-Barrett as chair designate, effective from February 23. He will replace Declan Moylan, who will leave the board at I-Res's annual general meeting on May 2. Scott-Barrett, who joined the board as an independent director in September 2022, is currently a non-executive director and senior independent director of Balanced Commercial Property Trust Ltd, a FTSE 250 REIT. He was chief executive of Capital & Regional PLC from 2008 to 2017, then served as non-executive chair until May 2020.
