Burford Capital Ltd - law-focused global finance and asset management firm - Says it swung to a net profit in the third quarter of 2023 of USD272.5 million from a loss of USD58.3 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share swung to USD1.24 from a loss of USD0.24 in the corresponding quarter the year before. Meanwhile, in the nine months to September 30, says total revenue more than tripled to USD794.3 million from USD157.9 million in 2022.
