Henry Boot PLC - Sheffield, England-based property development, home building and construction company - Notes that its land promotion and planning business Hallam Land has won an appeal to secure outline planning permission for 300 homes in Sutton-in-Ashfield in Nottinghamshire. Further, it unconditionally exchanged contracts on a sale to Harron Homes. Back in 2012, Hallam had entered into an initial planning promotion deal with the landowners in Nottinghamshire. Ashfield District council did not make a decision on the application, which led Hallam to appeal in July 2024, based on non-determination. The appeal was successful and resulted in full approval in February. Further, the appeal inspector determined that Hallam is justified in receiving a full award of costs.
