Alliance Witan PLC - Dundee, Scotland-registered investment trust founded in 1888 and managed by Willis Tower Watson - Declares fourth interim dividend of 7.08 pence per share, up 5.2% on 6.73p a year before. This brings the FTSE 100 constituent's total payout for 2025 to 28.32p, up 6.1% on 2024. Alliance Witan notes that this is its 59th consecutive annual dividend increase, which it says is one of the longest such track records in the investment trust industry. Quilter PLC - London-based wealth manager - Chooses Andrew Ross as non-executive director, with effect from January 1, 2026. Says Ross's appointment forms part of its "ongoing board succession planning". Ross joined the board of Witan Investment Trust PLC in 2019 and became its chair in 2020, serving in this role until its merger with Alliance Trust PLC in 2024. He is the deputy chair of the merged entity, Alliance Witan PLC, and he will step down from that role before to joining the Quilter board.
