Associated British Foods PLC - London-based retailer and food manufacturer - Starts on Wednesday the GBP500 million share buyback it announced with its annual results on Tuesday. The first tranche of GBP250 million will be run by Swiss bank UBS AG and be completed by April 15 next year. A second tranche also will be worth GBP250 million. AB Foods has a market capitalisation of GBP17.83 billion.
