----------

Next PLC, up 6.3% at 15,745.00 pence, 12-month range 11,200.00p-16,175.00p. The retailer raises annual profit guidance for the 20th time since the start of financial 2024, after second-quarter full-price sales jumped 9.2%, well ahead of its 4.0% prior forecast, driven by a 37% surge in online international sales. Next now expects annual pretax profit of GBP1.24 billion, up from its previous guidance of GBP1.22 billion and 7.3% higher than last year, while forecasting total group sales of GBP7.5 billion, up 6.6%. The company says sales beat forecasts by GBP70 million in the quarter, helped by stronger overseas demand, favourable weather, and more effective marketing.

----------

Coca-Cola HBC AG, up 4.2% at 5,027.50 pence, 12-month range 3,270.00p-5,195.00p. The soft drinks bottler lifts its full-year outlook after first-half pretax profit rises 12% to EUR723.3 million from EUR644.6 million, with net sales revenue up 11% to EUR6.23 billion and volumes increasing 7.5%. The company now expects organic revenue growth at the top end of its 6% to 7% target range and raises its organic Ebit growth outlook to 8% to 10% from 7% to 10% previously. Coca-Cola HBC also says its USD2.6 billion acquisition of Coca-Cola Beverages Africa remains on track to complete in the second half, with regulatory approvals secured in four of the six required jurisdictions.

----------

Glencore PLC, up 2.9% at 566.70 pence, 12-month range 275.20p-707.20p. The miner swings to a first-half pretax profit of USD4.89 billion from a USD1.13 billion loss a year earlier as higher commodity prices and strong marketing performance lift revenue 49% to USD174.43 billion and adjusted Ebitda 86% to USD10.12 billion. Glencore declares a second 8.5 US cents special dividend and launches a USD500 million share buyback. It says its Marketing division is on track to comfortably exceed its long-term earnings guidance. The company also unveils plans for a secondary listing in Australia and brings forward first production at Argentina's Alumbrera copper mine to the second half of 2027. Miners in London also rise as industrial metal prices are bid up ahead of an expected US decision on tariffs.

----------

4imprint Group PLC, up 9.0% at 4,783.00 pence, 12-month range 2,980.00p-4,890.00p. Lifts full-year guidance after first-half trading beat expectations, now expecting revenue slightly above 2025's USD1.35 billion and adjusted pretax profit of around USD130 million, ahead of consensus of USD1.32 billion and USD117.1 million, respectively. First-half revenue edges up 1.1% to USD666.4 million from USD659.4 million, while pretax profit falls 19% to USD59.6 million from USD74.0 million, with higher average order values driven by price increases and an improving trend in new customer orders.

----------

Avon Technologies PLC, up 4.3% at 1,856.00 pence, 12-month range 1,458.00p-2,230.00p. The defence equipment maker receives a USD12 million order from an existing European NATO customer for its next-generation CBRN respiratory protection systems, including the FM53 respirator, CS-PAPR and ST53 breathing apparatus. The contract underpins expectations for financial 2027, Avon Technologies says, with the company citing strong demand driven by fleet modernisation and heightened CBRN threat levels across its European NATO customer base.
