ME Group International PLC, up 4.6% at 148.26 pence, 12-month range 112.20p-237.00p. The instant service equipment provider has launched a new partnership with UK grocer Asda, for its Wash.ME laundry machines. "The overall ambition is to target up to 700 Wash.ME laundry machines across these sites. These sites are attractive, high-footfall locations which can be easily accessed and maintained by the group's strong network of field engineers," ME Group adds.

BP PLC, up 2.6% at 577.30, 12-month range 329.20p-609.40p. Shares in oil majors are back on the up as crude climbs. Brent trades at USD98.13 a barrel, up from USD95.20 at the time of the London equities close on Wednesday. A US-Iran truce reached Tuesday showed signs of unravelling, with Israel bombarding Lebanon and Washington contradicting some of Iran's demands to end the war ahead of planned talks.

Hays PLC, down 4.1% at 30.64p, 12-month range 30.52p-77.50p. Shares fall to this 12-month low on Thursday and shares in the staffing provider are down 54% over the past year, amid a tricky outlook for the sector. The company releases a trading update next week Thursday.

Metlen Energy & Metals PLC, up 1.4% at EUR36.10, 12-month range EUR30.50-EUR57.73. Shares rise, but its belated 2025 results show a profit fall. The Athens-based energy and metallurgy company had to delay its results to allow external auditor PricewaterhouseCoopers more time to complete work on the 2025 financial statement, Metlen's first as a dual-listed entity in London and Athens. Pretax profit falls 48% to EUR382.3 million in 2025 from EUR748.4 million in 2024, despite revenue shooting 25% higher to EUR7.11 billion from EUR5.68 billion.

Vodafone Group PLC, up 1.0% at 118.75p, 12-month range 62.40p-120.95p. The telecommunications firm looks set to register a seventh-successive daily rise. It has risen 11% over the past one month, outpacing the FTSE 100 which has added 3.4%.

CMC Markets PLC, up 0.4% at 367.50p, 12-month range 199.60p-369.50p. The trading platform provider hits this 12-month high on Thursday. The stock has surged 79% over the past 12 months.
