Small-cap and AIM movers in focus:
----------
Harvest Minerals Ltd, up 78% at 0.4 pence, 12-month range 0.225p-0.45p. The Perth-based fertiliser producer, which operates primarily in Brazil's Minas Gerais region, agrees to acquire Scanty Mineracao Ltda, a subsidiary of Union Star Metals Ltd and the portfolio owner of eight highly prospective ionic clay rare earth projects across 27 exploration tenements in Brazil. Will pay AUD200,000 cash and issue 40.0 million new Harvest shares upon completion, followed by an up to AUD300,000 cash payment if development milestones are achieved. Also assumes approximately AUD1.5 million of deferred acquisition payments and associated 1.5% royalty obligations due to the previous vendors.
----------
IQE PLC, up 18% at 42.625 pence, 12-month range 4.88p-63p. The Cardiff-based supplier of advanced compound semiconductor wafer products and material solutions says first-half revenue totals at least GBP64 million, saying that half-year trading surpassed management expectations. Cites accelerating demand for indium phosphide solutions for data centres' optical photonics, strength in the aerospace and defence segments, and robust demand for 3D sensing and wireless products. Expects this momentum to continue throughout 2026, and consequently now expects over 30% full-year revenue growth and adjusted Ebitda in the low-teen millions.
----------
Gateley Holdings PLC, up 15% at 62 pence, 12-month range 51p-139p. The Birmingham, England-based legal and consultancy firm's revenue for the year ended April 30 increases 8.2% on-year to GBP194.3 million from GBP179.5 million, exceeding its forecast of around GBP193 million in early June. Pretax profit rises 20% to GBP7.7 million from GBP6.4 million. Declares 2.0p per share final dividend, down from 6.2p. Total dividend falls 44% to 5.3p from 9.5p. Says trading in the early weeks of the current financial year is in line with its expectations. Reiterates its target of an adjusted operating profit margin of at least 13.5%. "While there remains some macroeconomic uncertainty, activity levels are being maintained and the group's diversified business model continues to offer good growth opportunities as we look through to FY27 and beyond," Gateley says.
