Celebrus Technologies, down 35% at 62.00p, 12-month range 61.00p-175.50p. The data solutions provider now expects annual results "below current market expectations", which it puts at USD23.7 million for revenue and USD900,000 for the adjusted pretax loss. For the six months to September 30, it expects to report a revenue decline to USD9.2 million from USD10.4 million and an adjusted pretax loss of USD1.3 million, narrowing from USD1.4 million.
----------
Mercantile Ports & Logistics, up 28% at 2.05p, 12-month range 0.20p-3.30p. Final oral submissions in connection to proceedings related to the Karanja Port were made on September 24, MPL says. "During the hearing, MPL's legal counsel made clear that the company was never provided with a genuine and bonafide opportunity to pay the outstanding debt and retain the asset that it financed, developed and built," the firm adds. "MPL maintains that this conduct, and the repeated obstruction of its attempts to repay the debt in full, has destroyed the sanctity and credibility of the process." India's National Company Law Tribunal calls on all parties to file written submissions by Thursday and a judgement on the challenge by MPL to the rejection of a proposal it has made "is expected soon thereafter following completion of that process".
----------
Kenmare Resources, up 27% at 230.25p, 12-month range 171.40p-325.50p. It says it has received a cash takeover proposal from Abu Dhabi-based International Resources Holdings RSC. The mining company, which operates the Moma titanium minerals mine in Mozambique, says talks with IRH are ongoing and there is no certainty that a firm offer will be made. IRH has until November 17 to announce whether or not it plans to make a formal offer.
----------
Synectics, up 10% at 190.00p, 12-month range 146.00p-310.56p. The provider of advanced security and surveillance systems expects revenue for the year ending November 30 in line with market expectations, and adjusted earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation at the top end of its GBP3.7 million to GBP4.1 million guidance range. "This reflects stronger margins and good performance across the group demonstrating the resilience of the diversified business and the early benefits of changes being implemented under the group's '5P' strategy. These include simplifying product deployment, strengthening partner strategic account management, and improving processes and commercial discipline across the business," Synectics adds.
