Says the US Patent & Trademark Office has issued a notice of allowance for a patent covering its Etsyl technology, held by wholly owned subsidiary 3D Bio-Tissues. The patent protects methods using the bioactive peptide Etsyl to stimulate and enhance collagen production in cells. BSF says the protection strengthens its intellectual property position in the US anti-ageing skincare, dermocosmetics and bioactive peptide markets and supports its worldwide exclusive commercialisation and supply agreement with Schakau Managementberatung for Etsyl in cosmetics and luxury beauty. The patent will proceed to formal issuance and registration following payment of an administrative fee before the December deadline.
----------
Premier African Minerals Ltd, down 32% at 0.00 pence, 12-month range 0.01p-0.30p. Pretax loss narrows to USD6.9 million in the six months that ended June 30 from USD7.7 million a year before. The company remains non-revenue producing. Says Zulu Lithium remains its principal operational focus as it seeks to progress the project towards sustainable production, while balancing working-capital needs and outstanding creditor obligations. Net cash stands at USD781,000 on June 30, up from USD29,000 a year before. Premier African says it aims to resolve "a number of material outstanding creditor positions in an orderly and commercially responsible manner".
----------
Orosur Mining Inc, down 16% at 16.75 pence, 12-month range 12.50p-41.00p. Announces a private placement to raise up to CAD14.0 million through the sale of up to 43.8 million units at CAD0.32 each, equivalent to around GBP0.17. Each unit comprises one common share and half a warrant, with each whole warrant exercisable at USD0.32, or around CAD0.45, for 24 months. Orosur may raise a further CAD2.0 million through an option granted to its agent to sell up to an additional 6.3 million units. The minerals explorer says it intends to use the proceeds principally to advance its wholly owned Anza gold exploration project in Colombia, as well as for general working capital and corporate purposes. The offering is expected to close around October 6, subject to regulatory approvals, with the new shares expected to be admitted to AIM around October 7.

Adjusted earnings per share decline to 5.00p from 5.86p, while the publishing technology provider keeps its interim dividend unchanged at 1.75p per share. Ingenta says it remains on track to meet full-year adjusted Ebitda expectations of GBP1.4 million.
