The Maidenhead, England-based language services and artificial intelligence solutions provider cuts its dividend despite reporting higher revenue. The firm says its pretax loss for the six months to the end of March narrows to GBP9.5 million from GBP12.7 million a year prior. Revenue climbs 4.6% to GBP360.3 million from GBP344.3 million. However, RWS cut its interim dividend by 29% to 1.75 pence per share from 2.45p a year ago. The company says it has made a good start to the second half, but adds that current foreign exchange rates, after, hedging, are expected to have a GBP2 million adverse impact on full-year pretax profit.

Aeorema Communications PLC, up 4.8% at 65.50p, 12-month range 45.00p-76.15p. The London-based live events agency's brand experience agency Cheerful Twentyfirst secures a three-year contract to deliver Climate Week NYC in 2026, 2027 and 2028. The firm says the contract win "solidifies" its position as a "trusted partner for high-impact global conference work". It follows a three-year partnership with Climate Group, the organisation behind Climate Week NYC. The event takes place every September across New York City. "This contract win is a testament to the dedication of our team and the strength of our creative partnership with Climate Group over the last three years," says Chief Executive Officer Steve Quah.

The Colchester, England-based designer and manufacturer of computer products for use in critical embedded applications secures its largest single contract to date, worth around GBP17 million. The firm says the four-year order from a "major European defence equipment prime contractor" eclipses by far last year's previous largest order of USD6.2 million. The "long-standing" customer is a leading provider of ground-based air defence systems and is expanding its production capacity to support increasing demand, Concurrent says. "This order represents our largest ever contract win and demonstrates the longevity of our product set and the strength of our long-standing customer relationships," says Chief Executive Officer Miles Adcock.
