UK TRADING UPDATE SUMMARY: Beximco In Bangladesh Vaccine Supply Pact

5th Nov 2020 22:32

(Alliance News) - The following is a round-up of updates by London-listed companies, issued on Thursday and not separately reported by Alliance News:

----------

Beximco Pharmaceuticals Ltd - Bangladesh-based medicine manufacturer - Enters memorandum of understanding for the supply and distribution of 30 million doses of the Oxford University-AstraZeneca PLC SARS-CoV-2 vaccine, AZD1222, in Bangladesh. The MoU has been signed with the Serum Institute of India Pvt Ltd and the government of Bangladesh. Within one month of the vaccine receiving the regulatory approval necessary for supply into Bangladesh, SII, licensed by AstraZeneca to manufacture AZD1222, will commence the delivery of the vaccine to Beximco Pharma, with the entire quantity of doses to be delivered within six months. "Whilst the terms and costings have not yet been finally determined, the company believes that this transaction could make a material difference to the company's results for the year ended 30 June 2021 if delivery of vaccine to GOB is largely completed within the financial year," says Beximco. Company expects to sign a formal purchase agreement within 30 days.

----------

Alternative Income REIT PLC - UK commercial property investor with assets predominantly let on long leases - Reports net asset value per share of 83.88 pence at September 30, up from 83.59p at June 30. Declares interim of 1.25p for quarter. This dividend is consistent with the company's total dividends of 5.0p paid in respect of the year ended June 30, 2020. "The board continues to target a resumption of a fully covered annual dividend of 5.5 pence per share, all else being equal, by September 2022," says Chair Steve Smith.

----------

Anglo African Oil & Gas PLC - agriculture investment company - Confirms that trading in shares on AIM has been suspended. The company was classified as a cash shell in May and, as such, was required to make an acquisition which would constitute a reverse takeover or be re-admitted to trading on AIM as an investing company on or before November 4. As neither a reverse takeover nor readmission to trading as an investing company has been completed, shares have been suspended. "The board continues the evaluation of potential Reverse Takeover candidates and will make a further announcement at the appropriate time," says Anglo African.

----------

Zoetic International PLC - London-based CBD company - Reaches revised agreement to sell 75% interest in DT Ultravert to Path Investments PLC. Path will issue 30.0 million shares to Zoetic, together with 15.0 million warrants to subscribe for shares at an exercise price of 1.5p each. Zoetic will no longer be selling its Kansas Nitogen Assets, and Path will no longer pay a royalty to Zoetic on future revenue from DTU.

----------

Rockfire Resources PLC - Australia-focused gold explorer - Says gold continues to be intersected in each hole at Plateau, in Australia, including, for the first time, below 600 metres from surface. "This drilling programme has only strengthened our belief in the potential of the deposit we are exploring. The company is excited in our pursuit as we better understand this mineralised system. Accordingly, an expanded mineralisation model will be developed to feed into an updated JORC resource at Plateau, which will incorporate drilling from the last three campaigns," says Chief Executive David Price.

----------

Catenae Innovation PLC - Newcastle-based digital media technology firm - Says following completion for four-month pilot agreement with Afrik-ID (Pty) Ltd, the two have entered into a memorandum of understanding to continue their relationship and work to commercialise potential opportunities. "We are delighted to provide this update on Afrik-ID following the completion of our pilot agreement, given the level of commercial potential that Afrik-ID has been able to identify within Botswana and SADC," says Catenae Chief Executive Guy Meyer.

----------

FireAngel Safety Technology Group PLC - Coventry-based fire safety products firm - Says trading conditions in its markets have "generally continued to improve" since late September. October saw the highest revenue of any month so far this year by "some margin", being 96%. of the level generated in October 2019. "Uncertainty caused by UK government policy and that of certain other countries continues to impact the company's ability to accurately forecast future sales and, therefore, the board does not provide guidance for the company's 2020 full year performance. The board expects to provide an update in mid-January 2021 on the company's 2020 full year performance," says FireAngel.

----------

Personal Group Holdings PLC - Milton Keynes-based employee benefits firm - Anticipates payment of fourth and final dividend in respect of 2020 following publication of audited full-year results in March 2021. Says it has taken a "more prudent" approach to the fourth dividend for 2020, which is usually declared and paid during the fourth quarter. "Given the recent government announcement of further national lockdown restrictions and ongoing uncertainty, the final amount will now be determined and announced following the year end," says Personal Group. From 2021, will adopt a "more typical" dividend payment profile with two payouts scheduled each year.

----------

Attis Oil & Gas Ltd - cash shell - Enters binding implementation agreement with Helium One Treasury Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of Helium One Global Ltd. Agreement sets out terms of a combination with Helium One, a company focused on exploration and development of the Rukwa helium project in Tanzania. Attis shareholders to be issued 1 Helium One share for every 236 Attis shares. Company expects cancellation of Attis shares on or around December 3, with Helium One's admission to AIM that same day. Scirocco Energy PLC notes it holds 21.3 million shares in Helium One, which following completion of the transaction and based on the minimum raise of GBP5 million by Helium One, is expected to represent 4.6% of the enlarged entity's share capital. Scirocco also holds 1 million share options in Helium One.

----------

FastForward Innovations Ltd - Guernsey-based closed-ended investment company - Notes investee EMMAC Life Sciences, in which FastForward holds a 2.3% stake, announcement saying negotiations regarding the proposed business combination between Andina Acquisition Corp and EMMAC have been mutually terminated. EMMAC says it was not possible to finalise the negotiations to the satisfaction of both parties.
