TRADING UPDATES: Macau warns on asset sales; Ceiba hit over Cuba deal

24th Jul 2026 20:52

(Alliance News) - The following is a round-up of updates by London-listed companies, issued on Friday, and not separately reported by Alliance News:

----------

Macau Property Opportunities Fund Ltd - Macau, China-focused investor - Adjusted net asset value per share is USD0.38 at June 30, down 18% from December 31. Under divestment programme, sells over 90% of units at The Waterside. Active marketing efforts continue for Penha Heights. Additionally, progresses on regulatory consents required to dispose of the remaining Fountainside units. As asset sales complete, the company has been consistently reducing its bank debt obligations. The company is in ongoing dialogue with lenders regarding banking facilities. Says the unsuccessful December capital raise has made its lenders "adopt a more cautious and significantly less flexible stance on the repayment schedule, necessitating acceleration of the divestment timeline." Adds: "This in turn has forced the company to take a pragmatic approach to pricing relative to valuation and has further constrained liquidity. The value that may be realised from any expedited disposals could be impacted, particularly against a weak property backdrop. Accordingly, sales achieved may be materially less than the valuations included in the above stated NAV per share."

----------

Total Graphite PLC - specialist flake graphite supplier, formerly called Tirupati Graphite PLC - Diamond drilling campaign continues at its Vatomina project in Madagascar. Notes this is "to build confidence in the mineral resource and support mine planning for the upcoming mining production restart and beyond." Seven diamond drill holes of have been drilled. Records "promising intersections of graphitic mineralisation." Assay results for drill holes to date are pending

----------

Amigo Resources PLC - London-based natural resources company - Updates on Tanzanian operations. Following the successful grant of processing centre licences at Mojimoto and Kabete, says it has transitioned to execution from planning. Says civil works are progressing for two pilot processing facilities, each designed to process approximately 200,000 tonnes per annum per site. Company says it is "confident that each of our two pilot facilities is capable of supporting an initial production target of approximately 20 kilograms of gold per month per plant now that commissioning has been completed." Additionally, says exploration activity at the Big Mine area is continuing. Micro-seismic survey work remains ongoing, building on the geophysical programmes completed to date, and a trenching programme is actively underway to test surface mineralisation and refine targets for follow-up work.

----------

GCP Infrastructure Investments Ltd - closed-ended investment company advised by Gravis Capital Management Ltd providing exposure to UK infrastructure debt - Net asset value at June 30 falls to 98.60 pence per share from 100.26p at end-March. Declares 1.75 pence dividend for the June quarter, in line with its annual target of 7.00p.

----------

Ruffer Investment Co Ltd - Guernsey-registered investment trust managed by London-based Ruffer LLP - Net asset value per share is 301.42 pence at June 30, down from 293.93p a year ago. Expects 2026 NAV total return of 4.6%, down from 5.3% last year. "A reassessment of AI capex returns could trigger a disinflationary growth shock, creating a favourable backdrop for duration. Alternatively, continued investment, combined with renewed geopolitical disruption, could lead to overheating, higher inflation, and a further breakdown in traditional diversification. We believe both outcomes remain plausible, reinforcing the need for both conventional and unconventional protection," company says.

----------

Ceiba Investments Ltd - investor in the Cuban commercial and tourism real estate sectors - The US Department of State designates CEIBA as a blocked person and a specially designated national under executive order 14404. "The apparent justification for making this designation is the assumption on the part of the Department of State that CEIBA has attempted (or is complicit in attempting) to shield assets and revenue streams of Grupo de Administracion Empresarial SA from US sanctions," company says, adding that the Department of State references subsidiary CEIBA MTC Properties Inc's deal to acquire 51% Inmobiliaria Monte Barreto SA from Inmobiliaria Lares SA, an indirect subsidiary of GAESA. "Given the complexity and unexpected nature of this designation, the board and management of CEIBA continue to consult with advisors to assess and understand the impact of this designation on the company and its financial position. As such, the company has requested that the temporary suspension to trading in its shares remains in place and an update will be made in due course," it says. Three directors have resigned in response to the designation.
