LONDON (Alliance News) - Sprue Aegis PLC on Monday said Neil Smith has been appointed as its new chief executive, replacing Graham Whitworth as he relinquishes the CEO role but remains the group's executive chairman.
The home safety products company said Smith has worked for the likes of Kingfisher PLC, Halfords Group PLC and Home Retail Group PLC in the past.
"Neil's addition to the senior management team significantly strengthens and extends our capabilities at a time when the business is well positioned for further growth and I am sure he will make a significant contribution to the business," said Whitworth.
Shares in Sprue Aegis were down 1.5% to 325.00 pence in early trade on Monday.
