SMALL-CAP WINNERS & LOSERS: Gore Street Energy wins six new contracts

27th Feb 2023 10:04

(Alliance News) - The following stocks are the leading risers and fallers among London Main Market small-caps on Monday.

----------

SMALL-CAP - WINNERS

----------

Gore Street Energy Storage Fund PLC, up 0.3% at 104.30 pence, 12-month range 101.00p-123.80p. The energy storage fund secures several contracts in the 2023 T-4 auction across six sites, which have a combined value of around GBP45 million. The contracts will commence delivery in October 2026, and provide consolidated revenue of around GBP3.8 million from October 2026 to September 2027. Says Middleton site of 200 megawatts is expected to generate GBP3.0 million annually in capacity market revenue for 15 years.

----------

Trustpilot Group PLC, up 1.8% at 101 pence, 12-month range 51.9p-172.7p. The Copenhagen-based online review platform's stock rises. Last week, the firm said that its Non-Executive Director & Chair Designate Zillah Byng-Thorne will succeed Tim Weller as chair of the company from April 3. The firm hired Byng-Thorne as deputy chair and a non-executive director in September. Byng-Thorne was previously CEO of Future PLC since April 2014.

----------

SMALL-CAP - LOSERS

----------

Kin & Carta PLC, down 3% at 123p, 12-month range 123p-293p. The stock hits a 12-month low, having lost 36% of its value over the past week. On Friday, the business consultancy cut its full-year expectations, due to the effects of macro headwinds which have made clients more cautious, and elongated sales cycles. It said like-for-like organic revenue at constant currency was down 6% in the first half to January 31 from a year before. Net revenue rose 15% to GBP98.8 million on a reported basis. For its full year, it expects net revenue growth of 8% to 12%, but organic net revenue at constant currency to decline.
