IN BRIEF: Kingfisher completes GBP50 million tranche of share buyback

Kingfisher PLC - London-based home improvement products retailer under B&Q, Screwfix, Castorama and Brico Depot brands - Completes GBP50 million second tranche of GBP300 million share buyback announced in March. The second tranche was run by Goldman Sachs International, after the first was run by BNP Paribas SA. Kingfisher now has completed GBP125 million of buyback programme. It says details of the third tranche will be announced "in due course". The repurchased shares will be cancelled. Kingfisher also conducted GBP300 million buybacks in each of the past two years.

Current stock price: 298.70 pence, up 0.4% on Thursday morning in London
