IN BRIEF: Cerillion warns full-year results to miss market guidance

14th Sep 2026 12:02

Cerillion PLC - London-based billing, charging and customer relationship management software - Issues a trading update for the financial year ending September 30. Expects a result "behind consensus market forecasts" for the full year, despite second-half earnings being "significantly ahead" of the first half. Forecasts revenue of between GBP46 million and GBP48 million, with an adjusted earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation margin between 43% and 45%. Revenue for the previous financial year was GBP45.4 million with an adjusted Ebitda margin of 50.9%. Cerillion cites market consensus guiding for revenue of GBP52.8 million and an adjusted Ebitda margin of 45.2%. It previously said, when reporting its half-year results in June, that it remained on track to meet full-year market expectations. Says on Monday that it anticipates reporting full-year results at the end of November.

"The main reason for the shortfall is that some anticipated new and existing customer orders have been delayed or deferred. This included software licence expansions and upgrades," Cerillion says. "Major implementations are progressing, with the transformation project at UCom nearing completion and software installation having been completed at Omantel.

"The back-order book remains strong, the new customer pipeline remains healthy and the balance sheet is very robust."
