(Alliance News) - The following is a round-up of earnings and trading updates by London-listed companies, issued on Tuesday and not separately reported by Alliance News:
----------
IG Design Group PLC - Buckinghamshire, England-based celebration products and gift packaging firm - In a trading update, says it has delivered a strong first-half performance and remains on track to deliver FY27 results in line with market expectations. Revenue is GBP109 million in the six months ended September 30, up 12% on-year, including around 8% organic growth. Adjusted operating profit increases to GBP5.7 million from GBP4.2 million reflecting positive trading momentum and winning incremental customer tenders. Glenart has performed well since acquisition and continues to trade in line with the board's expectations, it adds. Cash generation was robust, with underlying cash outflow largely in line with the prior period. Remains confident in the outlook and expects to deliver FY2027 results in line with guidance. Puts market consensus for revenue at GBP222 million and adjusted operating margin at 4.8%.
----------
Shearwater Group PLC - London-based cybersecurity advisory and managed security services group - Pretax loss narrows to GBP338,000 in the financial year ended June 30 from GBP13.4 million the year prior. Comparatives are for a 15-month period. Revenue climbs to GBP42.3 million from GBP39.5 million, driven by major contract wins within Services business. Services growth is underpinned by sustained strength in the Telecoms and Financial Services sectors, the firm adds. Shearwater says the positive trading environment, driven by growth in frequency and complexity of cyber threats, has resulted in a "robust" pipeline. Says it is well positioned to deliver FY27 results in line with market expectations. "We have entered FY27 from a position of strength, with a growing blue-chip customer base, continued momentum across Services and no debt. Combined with the actions taken to improve performance in Software, this gives us confidence that we can continue to deliver profitable growth and long-term value for shareholders," says Chief Executive Phil Higgins.
----------
Inspiration Healthcare Group PLC - Croydon, London-based medical technology company specialising in neonatal intensive care devices - Pretax profit totals GBP196,000 in the six months ended July 31, swung from a GBP284,000 loss the year prior. Revenue slips to GBP22.0 million from GBP24.0 million although the prior year benefited from GBP6.5 million one-off export orders. Firm says the bottom line is boosted by lower administrative expenses which fall to GBP9.1 million from GBP10.9 million. SLE underlying revenue increases 35%, Inspiration Healthcare distribution revenue grows 9% and Airon revenue jumps 40%. As a result, FY27 revenue expectations are upgraded to "at least" GBP43 million, with positive momentum expected to continue into FY28.
----------
Luceco PLC - London-based lighting manufacturer and distributor - Says revenue is up 17% on a like-for-like basis in the three months ended September 30 versus a year ago, driven by Energy Transition and core activity growth. This takes year-to-date revenue growth, on a like-for-like basis to 15.0%. The positive revenue mix, and delivery of further operational efficiencies resulted in profitability "significantly ahead" of the prior year in the quarter and the "good visibility" afforded by a strong order book means the firm anticipates a positive end to the year. "There is a healthy level of demand for the group's core products, and there is positive momentum driven by the contribution from Demand Flexibility and EV," the firm says. Luceco remains confident that full year 2026 adjusted operating profit will be delivered in line with market expectations, which increased following the announcement of interim results five weeks ago. Puts consensus for adjusted operating profit at GBP41.8 million, with a range of GBP41.3 million to GBP42.5 million.
----------
Ultimate Products PLC - Oldham, England-based owner of branded homeware products such as Salter and Beldray - Pretax profit drops to GBP5.1 million in the financial year ended July 31 from GBP8.0 million the year prior. Revenue declines to GBP144.9 million from GBP150.1 million, reflecting subdued consumer demand for general merchandise and a deliberate reduction in third-party clearance sales, with total branded sales up to GBP139.4 million from GBP136.3 million. "FY26 was a year of important strategic progress for Ultimate Products against a challenging consumer backdrop. Our proprietary brands continued to grow, particularly across our strategically important international segment, while we took the difficult but necessary decision to exit third-party clearance," says Chief Financial Officer Chris Dent. Proposes a final dividend of 1.80 pence per share versus 2.15p per share last year, taking the total dividend to 2.7p per share, down from 3.7p. Intends to maintain the net bank debt/adjusted earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation ratio at around 1.0 times, with debt being used to fund the group's working capital. Current trading "remains in line" with market expectations and whilst the "current backdrop of subdued consumer demand and geopolitical uncertainty continues to persist, the board is confident that the ongoing investment in the group's operational capabilities and commercial function will position the group to maximise future growth opportunities."
----------
Revolution Beauty Group PLC - London-based beauty products company - Pretax loss narrows to GBP1.9 million in the half year ended August 31 from GBP18.4 million the year prior. Revenue drops 2% to GBP48.4 million from GBP49.4 million but the bottom lines benefits from reduced marketing & distribution costs, plus lower general administrative expenses. Excluding discontinued brands, outlet clearance sales and non-recurring licence income in the prior period, underlying revenue grows by 8.3%. Gross profit jumps 33% and gross margin improves to 43.6% from 32.2%, reflecting the absence of prior-year clearance activity, significantly lower gross-to-net charges and much improved range and inventory management. Says the momentum built in the first half has continued into the second. Trading in September and October has been in line with the board's expectations and the group has now delivered positive adjusted Ebitda for thirteen consecutive months to the end of September. Sales and order books for the autumn/winter and Christmas trading period are "encouraging", is "confident" that the group is trading at the top end of the current range of market expectations for the full year. Puts consensus for full-year revenue in the range of GBP92.0 to GBP95.0 million and adjusted Ebitda in the range of GBP6.0 million to GBP6.6 million.
----------
Yellow Cake PLC - investor in physical uranium - Estimated net asset value per share increases by 5.0% to 666 pence at September 30 from 634p per share as at June 30, primarily reflecting the higher uranium spot price, with a modest contribution from the accretive share buyback, partly offset by foreign exchange movements. As of October 26, the NAV per share is 665p, based on 24.37 million pounds of uranium valued at a daily spot price of USD89.85/lb and cash and other net current assets of USD41.7 million as at September 30. During the quarter, Yellow Cake's uranium holdings increase from 23.2 million lb to 24.4 million lb. Chief Executive Andre Liebenberg says the third quarter highlighted the "continued strength" of the uranium market and Yellow Cake's market position. "While utilities remain focused on security of supply, long-term contracting continues to lag below annual replacement levels, providing strong underlying support for future pricing as utilities return to address uncovered requirements. Long-term fundamentals continue to build momentum."
