EARNINGS AND TRADING: Gabelli NAV per share rises; Eco 'good progress'

14th Aug 2026 22:14

(Alliance News) - The following is a round-up of updates by London-listed companies, issued on Thursday and Friday and not separately reported by Alliance News:

----------

Beowulf Mining PLC - explorer of iron ore, graphite, gold and base metals, targeting Sweden, Finland and Kosovo - Completes infill drilling campaign at the Kallak iron ore project in northern Sweden. Drills 1,072 metres in seven holes, with mineralisation confirmed in each. The campaign focuses on converting relatively shallow inferred mineralisation in the north of the Kallak North deposit into measured and indicated categories. Chief Executive Ed Bowie says: "The top priority infill drilling has now been completed with the objective of upgrading near-surface Inferred resource to the higher confidence Measured and Indicated categories. Field observations and results from portable XRF and magnetic susceptibility analyses indicate that the drilling has returned broad zones of mineralisation generally in line with the geological model. A number of holes encountered mineralised intervals that exceeded the widths anticipated at the planning stage and consequently the holes were extended. Geological, geotechnical and structural logging is nearing completion, and following conclusion of the Financing, samples will be sent for independent laboratory analysis. We look forward to reporting assay results and, in due course, the updated mineral resource estimate."

Residential Secure Income PLC - investor in retirement living and shared ownership - Announces an initial return of capital of around GBP35.2 million under its B Share scheme following the completion of the GBP108.3 million sale of its retirement portfolio. ----------

It encourages all other independent shareholders to reject the MBO Bid by casting their votes against the resolutions proposed at the scheme meeting and extraordinary general meeting on August 28.

----------

EJF Investments Ltd - Jersey-incorporated closed-ended investor in assets benefiting from regulatory and structural change in the financial services sector - Is notified that EJF Capital Ltd, an affiliate of its manager, utilises around 10% of the second quarter 2026 EJFI management fee to purchase 14,376 shares of the company. The purchase is made under the manager's program to reinvest up to 10% of the EJFI management fee. To date, EJF Capital Limited has bought a total of 232,725 ordinary shares under its re-investment programs. The manager and its affiliates hold around 28% of the shares of EJFI. "Although the Board previously announced that the manager would continue with its reinvestment program until [the second quarter of] 2027, the manager has informed the board that it has decided to cease the re-investment program next quarter after reinvesting 10% of the [third quarter] 2026 EJFI management fee. This follows a re-assessment by the manager of the program's impact on narrowing the trading discount to NAV. The manager may elect to reinstate its re-investment program in the future and will inform the Board of any such decision," company says.
